NCCIA Jobs 2026 Test Date

The test date for NCCIA Jobs 2026 has not been announced yet. The screening is a computer-based test conducted by NPF-TAS, and the schedule is published on the NPF-TAS portal and carried on the roll number slip.

With 351 posts and a very large applicant pool across seven designations, the test is normally held in batches rather than on a single day, and the gap between the closing date and the first batch is usually four to eight weeks. That would place the first sitting somewhere between early October and early November 2026. This is an expectation based on how NPF-TAS has run earlier projects, not an official announcement — no date is confirmed until NPF-TAS states it.

Roll Number Slip

The roll number slip for NCCIA Jobs 2026 is not available yet. When NPF-TAS releases it, this is the process:

1. Open npftas.pk and log in to the account you used to apply.
2. Open the NCCIA recruitment 2026 project and go to the Roll Number Slip or Admit Card section.
3. Enter your CNIC and registration number if prompted.
4. Download and print the slip — it carries your roll number, test centre and reporting time.
5. Bring the printed slip and your original CNIC to the centre. Candidates without both are normally not allowed to sit.

If you applied for two posts, you will have a separate slip for each, because each application carried its own Rs. 2,000 fee. If a slip does not appear after the schedule is announced, check that the challan for that application was actually cleared — unpaid applications are not processed.

Written Test Pattern and Preparation

NPF-TAS conducts a computer-based screening test. Based on the selection process stated in the advertisement, it covers:

• General knowledge, Pakistan studies, Islamiat and current affairs.
• English — grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, comprehension.
• Mathematics — arithmetic, percentages, ratios, averages, basic algebra.
• Analytical and logical reasoning.
• For Sub Inspector and Technical Assistant — fundamentals of information technology and cyber security: networking basics, operating systems, databases, digital forensics concepts, common attack types and Pakistan’s cybercrime law framework (PECA).

The IT and cyber security portion is what separates this recruitment from an ordinary police test, and it is where Sub Inspector candidates gain or lose their merit position. Candidates from a Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, Software Engineering or Digital Forensics background should revise fundamentals rather than assuming a general-knowledge paper.

Physical Test Standards

Candidates for Sub Inspector, Assistant Sub Inspector, Constable and Constable Driver must clear the physical measurement check and the endurance run.

Stenotypist applicants sit a shorthand and typing speed test instead (80 words per minute shorthand, 40 words per minute typing), and Constable Driver applicants take a practical driving test in addition to the physical standards.

Merit List and Result

The NCCIA result has not been announced, because the test has not been held. Once the computer-based test takes place, NPF-TAS publishes the result on its portal. Final selection is made on cumulative merit across the written test, the physical or skill test and document verification, with an interview where applicable. The weightage given to each stage is not stated in the official advertisement.

Seats are filled against open merit and the regional quotas for Punjab, Sindh Rural, Sindh Urban, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, the merged districts, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, with separate shares for women and for minorities, so merit is calculated within your quota, not against the whole applicant pool.

Eligibility Criteria

• Only citizens of Pakistan holding a valid CNIC may apply.
• Age limit 18 to 25 years as on the closing date, with the general five-year upper age relaxation admissible under federal government rules.
• Qualifications must be from HEC or board recognised institutions; foreign degrees require an equivalence certificate.
• Candidates apply against the quota shown on their domicile certificate.
• Fee is Rs. 2,000 per post, non-refundable, paid through 1Link or 1Bill against the challan generated on the portal.
• Applications are accepted online only through npftas.pk; post, email and hand-delivered applications are not accepted.
• Candidates must be medically fit and free of any conviction or pending criminal proceeding. Government servants apply through the proper channel.

Beware of Fraud at This Stage

The window between a closing date and a test date is when fake “paper out”, “roll number slip service” and “guaranteed selection” offers appear on WhatsApp and Facebook. NCCIA and NPF-TAS charge only the Rs. 2,000 official fee through the challan generated inside the portal. Any demand for money beyond that is fraud and should be reported. No agent can obtain a roll number slip that the portal has not issued.

Is a New NCCIA Advertisement Out?

No new NCCIA advertisement has been published since the 24 August 2026 one. NCCIA is a young agency still building its sanctioned strength, so further recruitment is likely, and it would be announced through the same NPF-TAS portal. When is the NCCIA Jobs 2026 test date?
