Shaukat Khanum Internship and Volunteership Program 2026 Lahore

Shaukat Khanum Internship 2026
Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre runs a year-round Internship and Volunteership Programme at its Lahore facility, and it is one of the few placements in Pakistan that a student can apply to at almost any point in the year rather than waiting for a summer window.

There is no closing date. The hospital works on a rolling intake, and the rule that actually governs your application is this: it must reach the HR department at least three weeks before the start date you are proposing. As of late August 2026 all volunteer positions are filled through 31 August, with applications being accepted for later start dates on a first-come, first-served basis.

Two things to be clear about before applying. The placement is unpaid — it is a voluntary programme and no stipend is offered. And the placements are short: two weeks for volunteership, four weeks for an internship, and five days for clinical volunteering. Extensions need prior approval.
